Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Swipe’s mobile applications and related services. By creating an account or using Swipe, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Swipe helps you organize personal finances by parsing bank SMS alerts (on supported platforms with permission) and aggregating credit card / statement information into transactions, dashboards, and insights. Features may differ by platform.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13).
3. Acceptable use
- Use Swipe only for lawful personal finance management
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the service
- Do not upload unlawful content or attempt unauthorized access to others’ data
4. Financial information disclaimer
Swipe is a tracking and organization tool. It is not a bank, payment provider, tax advisor, or investment advisor. Parsed SMS and imported statements may contain errors or incomplete data. Always verify balances and dues with your bank or card issuer. We are not liable for missed payments, incorrect categorizations, or decisions you make based on the app.
5. Permissions
Some features require device permissions (for example, SMS on Android). You can revoke permissions in system settings; related features may stop working.
6. Intellectual property
Swipe’s software, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to your own financial data. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the service.
7. Availability & changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitute acceptance when permitted by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using Swipe at any time and request account deletion by emailing support@saurabh.build. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWIPE AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory rights.
